Easton is a leading manufacturer and designer for baseball/softball bats, gloves, shoes and more. Until 2009, they relied on authorized resellers to sell their equipment – that changed with the launch of their first factory-direct online store.
Serving as the sole UX designer, I had three weeks to design the online store based on the existing web site’s information architecture and sitemap with minimal research and data to inform decisions. After meeting the three week design deadline, I handed off my work to our engineering team, which built the online store using Magento, integrating it with WordPress for content and SAP for fulfillment.
